For lawyers
Take consultations with clients
People on The Propertician book paid consultations with lawyers our team has verified. Pass three checks, get a page of your own, and answer the requests that come in.
You’ll need a mobile number, your Aadhaar or PAN to verify your identity through DigiLocker, and your Bar Council enrolment certificate.
- 1. Contact
Prove your mobile number with a one-time code. It’s the number a client calls once you confirm a time with them.
- 2. Identity
Verify your identity through DigiLocker. Your page shows the name on your government ID, not one typed in.
- 3. Documents
Upload your Bar Council enrolment certificate, and your Bar Council ID card or Certificate of Practice if you have them. Our team opens each one and checks the name and the enrolment number. If something needs fixing, we tell you what, and you send it again.
- 4. Your page goes live
Once our team approves, you get a public page like the one each verified builder has: your photo, name, Bar Council, experience, languages, cities, what you help with and your introduction. Never your phone, email or enrolment number, and no ratings. Changes you make later go to our team before they show.
- 5. Answer requests
Somebody chooses you, suggests two or three times and pays when they book. You accept one of their times, suggest another, or decline — within 48 hours. If you decline, or the consultation doesn’t happen, they get their payment back in full.
Once a time is confirmed, you each see the other’s number. We record each time a number is shown.
